Hey, thanks for checking out my profile. I started gaming on the NES. Originally I found RPGs repetitive and boring, but it could have been because I really did find one that impressed me. That all changed when I discovered Albert Odyssey: Legend of Eldean for the Sega Saturn. While I've haven't played video games regularly since I graduated high school, I've always had a soft spot for JRPGs

In this game I ran around the woods looking for generic helpless survivors which I then forced to work in various random building in my village, encampment, random meddow, or whatever the hell that place was. When I did reveal who the survivors were they turned out to be anyone from a farmer to a freaking robot, because that makes a whole lot of sense. Oh yeah, I died a lot. Yes, this game looks good, but.... See I couldn't even continue on with that sentence, kind of like this game. I wouldn't recommend this game, but what I know?

I haven't played Final Fantasy Tactics, so I can't make a comparison. Previous comments seem to indicate that this game is similar in the same vain as Malt-o-meal's Tootie Fruities are similar to Kellogg's Froot Loops. The one thing I can say for fact that does annoy me is the static tactical map. Some times the terrain can get in the way of the pointer for the grid; it makes it hard to see. Maybe I just haven found a way to rotate the map. Anyway I think the game is alright. I don't feel as if I have wasted $15, but whay do I know?

Great review. I'm happy I purchased the game, but happier I only paid $15 USD. It's a little disappointing to know that the three games are virtually identical, but I guess the silver lining to this cloud is I can move onto something else once I finish Will of the White Lions.
