Game Description

Code of Princess EX tells the tale of Solange (yes, the same Solange from our upcoming 2D fighting game Blade Strangers), a princess who finds herself on the run and in possession of the legendary DeLuxcalibur sword after her kingdom falls to monstrous invaders. What Solange lacks in sensible fighting attire she makes up for with passion and power, and her battle against evil leads her to join forces with a variety of colorful allies, including young thief Ali (also seen in Blade Strangers!), elven bard Allegro, blind samurai Tsukikage and necromancer Lady Zozo. Together, they’ll use melee weapons, magical spells, powerful combos, lock-on attacks and a special “burst” ability to smite their foes and restore peace to the land.

I skipped on the 3ds version but I'm glad I've picked it up on Switch! It's actually really addictive!

The 3DS version of this felt a bit clunky on that system and I eventually abandoned it for something else. Hopefully time and a better interface can make it work on the Switch. Putting it on the wishlist.

Loved this on the 3DS and will get this day one on the Switch. Beat-em-ups are my favorite genre with RPGs being second, so this game is up there for me.

Haven't played a side-scrolling beat-em up in a while and those RPG elements have me interested in this one. Hearing good things about the previous DS version, another to watch. My wallet can't take all this punishment!

Beat 'em ups aren't exactly my strong point and I was never able to finish this on my 3DS. I still highly recommend the game for its great sprite work and witty writing/dialogue. Character interactions were funny as hell.

Alright, my interest is peaked because it's all about efficiency and action.
Little video cut-scenes for every move? Get outta here!
This game looks like it gets the story across whether you want it or not, and you just deal with it!
I like that. No fooling around. Straight to it, Kiddo.

Seriously, don't sleep on this one. Action RPG with a great attack input system, funny and charming story, and plenty of mission variety! It's super cute!
