I played the first one, & it was a dungeon crawler/beatemup, with cards determining your equipment & forming the map you're exploring. Like in the trailer, "A Village Burns" is an event you'll play in that campaign. Honestly quite enjoyed the first one, outside of some loose, sometimes buggy combat & opponent AI, it kept me hooked with the semi-randomness of what you'll get next.

I believe you unlock more cards that can be accessed in a playthrough as you progress further through the game.

Either way, very interested in this title.

What even is this?! Card game? Board Game? Dungeon Crawler? I'm certainly intrigued and it's for sure going on my wishlist. It's about time the Switch started getting more card games.
