Cosmic Star Heroine Nintendo Switch Review via Gadgets 360

Cosmic Star Heroine is one of the better RPGs around. It may tread familiar ground, but it does so on its own terms, making for a game well worth experiencing even if you aren't a fan of the genre.

Cosmic Star Heroine (Switch) Review via NintendoWorldReport

It's not difficult to find new games that are designed with the 16-bit era in mind, but it is rare to find ones that develop new and enjoyable game mechanics. While the writing could have benefited from some additional depth, the expansive party and combat options provide hours of entertainment, making Cosmic Star Heroine a worthwhile addition to your Switch library.

Review: Cosmic Star Heroine (Nintendo Switch) via Digitally Downloaded

Cosmic Star Heroine is a nostalgic experience that is worth playing if you are a fan of the 16-bit JRPG era. The cast is full of wonderful characters, the plot interesting and the battle system engaging. The whole game is wrapped up in a ten-twelve hour experience which was the perfect length to see the story out.

I’ve already got this on Vita and PS4, but I can’t wait to play through it on Switch. Terrific game.

Cthulhu Saves the World was a pleasant surprise with some solid additions to the turn based RPG formula and I'm looking forward to setting what interesting twists are in this game. Hopefully the price won't be too exorbitant.

It's well regarded, and comps to Chrono Trigger. How bad can it be?

I'm glad to see this one finally arriving. It's been on Steam a long time, but at this point it's hard to go back to playing games where I'm tethered to the TV, especially when they're retro things that run fine on hardware much weaker than Switch. I also remember hearing about the developers having a hell of a time getting access to dev kits, which seems hard to understand considering some of the stuff that's made it onto the eShop over the last year.
