Game Description

In this brand-new hilarious Adventure Time story, gamers play as Finn, Jake, BMO and Marceline to explore fan-favourite kingdoms and meet the well-loved characters from Cartoon Network’s popular TV animation series. The game starts with a flooded Land of Ooo in which familiar kingdoms are cut off from each other by rising waters. In their newly constructed boat, Finn and Jake set sail to investigate what happened…

During their adventures, Finn and Jake will recruit friends to join their crew on the newly constructed boat Jeff, heading into swashbuckling fights, interrogate characters for clues and traverse the new and dangerous sea to locations across Ooo.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion (Switch) REVIEW | Cultured Vultures via Cultured Vultures

Great art and design can't make up for dated, semi-open world adventuring.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion Review via Nintendo Insider

On the whole, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion does just enough to allow you to interact with the world of Ooo. It’s more a shame that considering the series as a whole is coming to an end, there’s no true celebration here to close out the franchise with a potential classic.

Review: Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion via Destructoid

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion might be appealing to a younger audience that wants an RPG without too many advance systems to over-complicate things, but if you're looking for a deep role-playing game set within the land of Ooo, you'll be sorely disappointed. On top of that, all of the performance issues with the Switch version make it incredibly difficult to recommend.

Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion Review – Unrealized Potential In A Flooded World via Game Informer

Combat is a highlight and I laughed at some solid jokes, but exploring Ooo is a disappointment. The game is also plagued by technical problems

Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion Review via TheSixthAxis

All in all, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion is merely okay.

The games usually fall flat for me, so I'm not really hyped for this Adventure Time journey.

Never played any Adventure Time games before but I've been a fan ever since so I'm kinda excited for this one.
