Weekend Gaming Playlist (9-16-22)

The glorious weekend is here, and mine is looking to be pretty freakin’ great. I’ll be taking care of all my yardwork in the crisp, cool, autumn-like morning (finally – thank goodness) we’re supposed to have this Saturday in Georgia. Then, I’ll probably make a massive batch of chili to fuel some serious gaming time all weekend long! Here’s what I’ll be playing this weekend.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

What astonishes me the most about my Xenoblade Chronicles 3 playthrough is not that I’ve yet to finish it, but rather how easily I’m able to drop it and pick it back up days or weeks later with no issue. That is big for me, considering I’m notorious for leaving games on the backburner until they’re burned to a crisp. It may take me a ridiculous amount of time to finally roll the credits on this one, but injecting it between other game review commitments has worked out quite well thus far.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic

I’ve been playing Blizzard’s smash hit MMORPG off and on since December of 2004. And no matter how many times I quit, they somehow always draw me back in for a time. While I haven’t played the retail version in ages – waiting on them to mail me my two-year sobriety chip, in fact – the impending debut of Wrath of the Lich King on their classic realms has ignited that fire in me once more. Will I “no-life” this expansion like I did when it first released over a decade ago? Will I even make it to max level? Who knows…but I’m still having fun with it for now.

That’s it for me this weekend! What are YOU going to play?
