Weekend Gaming Playlist (8-26-22)

Happy weekend everyone! By the time you’re reading this, I’ll hopefully have a cold brew in my hand and be sitting on a beach. I’ve been itching for a vacation for some time, and the stars have finally aligned for me to do just that. However, I will most certainly still be getting some game time in this weekend despite the change of scenery. Here’s what I’ll be playing:

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Monolith Soft’s latest entry in the series has, to say the least, been a joy to play. Having been slightly disappointed with certain aspects of XC2, but had an absolute blast with XCDE, I was cautiously optimistic for this game. But as it turns out, I had no reason to worry because this game has been pretty amazing in the 30 hours I’ve played thus far. Judging by the overall playtime of others out there, I’m still in for quite a long journey so we’ll see where things go and how my thoughts change from here.

Final Fantasy VII: Trinity Challenge

This mild challenge run of the original Final Fantasy VII is something I’ve done for SwitchRPG in the past, but I’m currently running it again for the heck of it. If you’re interested in the details of the challenge, or want to see me take it on, feel free to check out the new Let’s Play here.
