Weekend Gaming Playlist (8-12-22)
Summer, sadly, is winding down. I just got back from vacation and I also managed to get COVID. I’ll be making the most of my quarantine time playing some games, though. Guess that is what I get for going away on vacation for the first time in two years! Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe; here is what I am playing this weekend.
Highly anticipated game coming soon (TM)
This is a game I have really been looking forward to and can’t wait to share more with you all soon.
Live A Live

I am wrapping up my playthough of Live A Live and it has been a blast. I am on the final chapter, going for the good/true ending. If you decided to pass on Live A Live for various reasons, most likely because Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was coming out the following week, then I highly recommend giving it a chance once you finish XBC3.
If you are still on the fence there is a demo you can download…but I hope we see more projects like this. This was a SNES game that was never released outside of Japan, but this is more than just a port to Switch. Turn-based RPGs might not be for everyone, but what the team created here, especially in the ‘90s, is really impressive considering hardware limitations at the time. Not only did they build worlds for each of the playable characters with their own story, art, enemies, etc, they also created a turn-based grid system that is a lot of fun to learn and master.
That’s it for me this weekend! What are you going to play? Let us know in the comments below, or over on Twitter. Enjoy your time playing, stay safe, and be well!
