Weekend Gaming Playlist
Weekends are supposed to be filled with lots of fun and relaxation, right? Not for this guy, and not this weekend, apparently. When you have a healthy collection of dogs – my case being six, five of which are pit bulls – you must be prepared to give each of them ample exercise, else you could be in trouble! In order to appease the masses, I’ll be beginning phase one of a massive fencing project for my four-legged friends, but I’ll be diving into a few Switch titles as I am able. Here’s what they’ll be:
Dragon Quest Builders 2

Although I’m still early on in my adventure, I’ve played enough to confidently state that the sequel to the beloved Dragon Quest Builders has surpassed my expectations in almost every way. While it suffers in the performance department at times, it more than makes up for it with refinements to numerous gameplay systems, as well as a better paced (and more cohesive) story. Look out for a full review, and possibly a first impressions article, in the coming weeks!
Artifact Adventure Gaiden DX

Honestly, I’ve neglected this retro-inspired open world JRPG ever since I got my hands on DQB2, but I have every intention of picking it back up and playing it through to the end. I’m still very curious to see how the choice/consequence system really affects the world, and whether or not it will be enough to warrant multiple playthroughs. My thoughts, as well as Timothy’s review, to come soon!
That’s it for me – have a great weekend, everyone!
