Welcome to another Weekend Gaming Playlist! This week, two games I have been patiently waiting for have finally arrived on Switch, which means I will be playing them a lot this weekend:
Swords of Ditto has been on my “to play” list for a while. When it was announced for the Switch, it was an instant buy for me. I am really looking forward to seeing what they have changed/tweaked from the original game’s concept when it launched a couple years back on PC and PS4.
It’s an action adventure RPG with rogue-like elements, though some of it may have been adjusted in the Mormo’s Curse update. The game has a charming art style reminiscent of 2D Zelda games, but Swords of Ditto makes the gameplay a bit more interesting in having you defeat Mormo – the primary villain of the game – in a set amount of time. A full SwitchRPG review of Swords of Ditto will be available soon.
Shadows of Adam is a retro inspired JRPG made by Something Classic. We are having an AMA with the developers on May 3rd (launch day) – click here to join our discord and take part in it! Shadows of Adam is a turn-based RPG that follows the story of Asrael, Kellan, Curtis and Talon. Check out our review of Shadows of Adam here.
That’s all for me this weekend! Let us know what you are playing in the comments below.
