Weekend Gaming Playlist (3-4-22)

March is finally upon us and today is the first of many major releases for me this month. I already know that I’m going to fall behind with so many of the games that I’m eager to play, but I’m still excited nonetheless for what this month has in store. For this weekend, though, these games are going to be occupying my attention:

Triangle Strategy

This was probably expected, given that I am a huge tactics nut. I’ve been excited for this game since it was first announced and I got to play through the first demo. And now, the full release is upon us. As of writing this article, I’ve only played a little bit of the demo and the taste that I had gotten was so fun. I haven’t played a tactics game in a hot minute, so it’s nice to jump right back in. And hopefully, with this release, Square might actually consider getting back into the tactics circle. The more the merrier, after all.

Puzzle & Dragons Nintendo Switch Edition

While I am a puzzle game and mobile game fan, I’ve never actually got on the Puzzle & Dragons train in all the years that the game has been out. So, when the game was suddenly announced for the Switch, I was intrigued. While the game does feel a bit barebones, it is a nice pallet refresher in-between the much bigger games. And it is nice playing a match-3 game after so long.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus

While I’m sure a majority of Pokemon fans have already cleared through this game, I am still very much in the thick of it. Deciding to take things slow and actually pace myself, it’s been a fun journey so far. It’s very easy for me to get fatigued with big games like this, so the slow progress has helped me stick with the game. And seeing so many familiar faces pop up in the game continues to bring a smile to my face.

That’s it for me this weekend! What are YOU going to play?
