Weekend Gaming Playlist (3-18-22)

We’ve made it to another weekend! While the first half of my own is supposed to be filled with awful weather, the second half should make for some exceptionally nice Spring days. Here’s what will be demanding my attention this weekend, particularly during the aforementioned inclement weather:

Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster

While Final Fantasy IV is hands-down my favorite Final Fantasy of all time (and the Pixel Remaster is great), I’ve had the most fun getting back into the entry which most believe is the best. Although I played this a ton as a kid, it’s been decades since I’ve actually played through it to completion, and so far I’ve been having a blast. I’m getting ever-closer to that midway point that to this day, remains one of the most iconic, shocking, and emotional events to ever be in an RPG, let alone one from almost three decades ago.

Rune Factory 5

I was fortunate enough to get early access to the latest in the Rune Factory series, and that’s great considering how long of a journey it has become. While I can’t share specifics at this point, be on the lookout in the next week for full coverage of this highly-anticipated installment into the Rune Factory franchise.

That’s it for me this weekend! What are YOU going to play?
