Weekend Gaming Playlist (2-27-23)

For the first time in a long time, I’ve dared to juggle not one, not two, but THREE different RPGs on the Nintendo Switch at the same time. While this may be easy in the eyes of many, my track record proves that doing such a thing often leads to abandoning RPGs midway through. However, I’m determined to go against the odds this time, and hope to sink a decent amount of effort into the following games this weekend:

Chained Echoes

I’ve been playing this one for a while, but the Let’s Play format is making progress quite slow. That said, I have enjoyed my time with Chained Echoes and do look forward to making even more progress with it this weekend, even if I feel like the dialogue is a bit too long-winded at times.

Octopath Traveler II

If one Let’s Play wasn’t enough, there’s also Octopath Traveler II to consider. I was a huge fan of the first game, and its sequel seems to only be an improvement on the same formula. While I’m only a few hours into it so far, I’m looking forward to finding out more about what is sure to be a multi-dozen-hour journey this weekend.

Labyrinth of Galleria: The Moon Society

Rounding off my Switch games for the weekend is this first-person dungeon crawler from Nippon Ichi Software. I’ve made substantial progress in this one already, and it’s possible I may roll the credits this weekend if I push hard enough.

Final Fantasy Tactics

Yep, still playing through one of the greatest games of all time. Although my journey with it will soon come to a close, I’m certain that Square Enix has a surprise announcement up their sleeve for this game this year…

That’s it for me this weekend! What are YOU going to play?
