Weekend Gaming Playlist

With a huge wave of releases that I’m interested in quickly approaching, I’m trying (and failing) my hardest to get through some games that I’ve bought recently. Summer is going to be a crazy season, so it’s nice to have some respite before the storm hits.

Death end re;Quest

When I first heard about this game last month, I was mildly curious about it. Of course, just based on the information already out there about the game, I knew this was going to be anime fanservice galore. And while that is still true after playing the first few hours, my interest has still been peaked. So far, I like the combat and the characters aren’t too grating. And since I’ve finally been let loose to explore the first dungeon, we’ll see if this game continues to hold my attention in its entirety.

Cozy Grove

While I have already started to slip out of the habit of playing everyday, coming back to Cozy Grove is still a pleasant experience. A recent update came through with this game that increased storage space (among other fixes, such as the stuttering and lag), one of my bigger complaints with the game so far. It is nice to be able to kick back and relax for about an hour or so running around the island, collecting more materials, and helping the ghostly inhabitants with their woes.

World’s End Club Demo

I don’t normally bring any attention to any demos that I’ll be playing, usually because they tend to be one and done (also none have released when it’s my turn to write the Weekend Gaming Playlist). But this demo has already been released and I’m very excited to try out this game. I was a pretty big fan of the Danganronpa series back in the day, so I’m very curious what the creators of that and the Zero Escape series have to offer.

And that’s my weekend! What games are you guys playing? Let us know down below in the comments, or on Twitter!
