Weekend Gaming Playlist

While the weekend is just beginning for most, I was able to cheat and kickstart mine two days early! Yes, I totally booked time off work for the release of SaGa Frontier Remastered, and naturally, you may already expect what I’ll be up to this weekend…

SaGa Frontier Remastered

I was fortunate enough to get started about a week early thanks to a review copy (though I still have my physical edition ordered which will hopefully be on the way soon). I still have plenty to do, however, as I’m starting to wrap up scenario #7 in order to dive deep into the brand new Fuse scenario this weekend!

This game was such a huge part of my childhood, and it is really a dream come true to have it on the Switch in ANY form, let alone a full-on remaster. And this is so much more than a simple remaster, but I’ll share all of those details in my upcoming review once I’ve rolled all the credits! Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book DX

If I happen to finish SaGa Frontier Remastered this weekend, I’m going to get started with the first entry in the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy that’s slated for a Switch release in just a couple weeks. Oddly enough, the third entry (Lydie & Suelle) has been on the Switch since 2018, but the first two titles were never ported until now. Regardless, this version is a bit different from the 2018 release (hence the DX suffix), as it features some additional content and quality-of-life improvements. I’m a huge Atelier fan, so I’m looking forward to covering all three Mysterious entries for the site in detail soon!
