Weekend Gaming Playlist

Happy New Year! 2020 was a hard year for everyone, but there were also some great games released, and it looks like things are going to keep getting better in the New Year, as well. For now, however, I’m just planning on spending a relaxing holiday weekend with some fun gaming to usher out the old year and ring in the new.

Monster Sanctuary

Monster Sanctuary

I’m still enjoying playing Monster Sanctuary! This is a really great game which I know I’ve talked about before with my First Impressions Article. If you have any interest in monster collecting games or are looking for a fun Metroidvania experience, I would absolutely recommend checking this one out.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing

If you are reading this on New Year’s Eve, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is going to be having their own countdown event to ring in the new year. While I don’t anticipate this to be the most spectacular event ever created, I am planning on turning it on to play while I watch the celebrations on TV this year. Plus, you get a fun New Years hat!

Torchlight 3

Torchlight 3

I recently got back into Torchlight 3 after being momentarily distracted by the new games releasing. I am extremely close to beating it, so I plan on finishing it this weekend. I am currently playing through it using the Railmaster class and I am really enjoying it. You can read Evan’s review of the game here.

I’m sure I will be playing more games not listed here (always playing World of Warcraft!), but what are you going to be playing this weekend? Any fun New Years plans? Any gaming related goals for 2021? Let us know!
