Weekend Gaming Playlist
Hello and Happy October everyone! It is finally starting to feel like autumn here and I am able to get cozy in my SwitchRPG hoodie, a cup of tea, and hunker down for some good video game time. Here’s what I’ll be playing this weekend:
Fantasy Life (3DS)

FINALLY. Yes, I know, I am way behind the times on this gem. I don’t know how I missed this game… this life simulation rpg sounds like everything I love. Moreover, it seems that in recent months nearly everyone I know has been telling me to play it! So, I finally ordered myself a copy and have been anxiously watching the shipment tracking on it. It should arrive in Saturday morning’s mail, so as long as it arrives on time, I know I will be playing this a LOT this weekend. I already know I will love it! Have you played it? If so, what are your thoughts? I’m sure I will be tweeting a lot as I play, so let’s have a conversation about it!
Genshin Impact (PC)

I have been hearing so many good things about Genshin Impact. This free-to-play fantasy RPG just launched a few days ago and it seems like my Twitter feed blew up with excitement over it. It takes a while to download on PC, though, so if you are planning on trying this out… make sure you give your computer plenty of time to work on it. It is also available on PS4 and hopefully someday soon on Switch. For now, I’ll be playing the PC version.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing is starting the autumn events, with pumpkins to plant and more. I haven’t played Animal Crossing as much lately but I love everything about autumn, so I’m excited to get back into the game and experience it there, as well. As of October 1st there is candy available for purchase in Nook’s Cranny and pumpkin starters to plant. I can’t wait to see what all the new DIYs will be!
World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is going to be launching at the end of this month. I am always playing World of Warcraft anyway, but with the excitement of a new expansion coming I know I will be in-game even more as I finish up little things here and there to get ready for it!
So, what are you planning on playing? Is it getting cold enough where you are to get cozy with warm blankets and gaming? To me, that is the epitome of gaming relaxation. Have a great weekend everyone, and stay healthy!
