Weekend Gaming Playlist

What better way to start the weekend than to talk about (and then play) games? Below are a few titles I’m hoping to dive in to over the next few days:

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana

I cannot say much about Ys VIII at this time, but expect an in-depth analysis of it in the near future. All I will say right now is that it has been a positive experience on the Switch. Keep your eyes peeled for more in the coming weeks!

Knights of Pen Paper +1 Deluxier Edition

Once I finish up Ys, I’ll be moving to this recently released Switch title. The whole pen and paper, turn-based thing they have going on is doing all sorts of things for my inner nerd. I used to laugh so hard during the few pen and paper sessions I had with my brother growing up, because he (as the Dungeon Master) would conjure up the dumbest situations and events for me to experience. If this game can give off a similar type of vibe (or if it’s just a good ole RPG), I will heavily invest myself in it.

ELEX / Ys Seven

I bought ELEX a few weeks ago, but still haven’t had a chance to play it. The whole Sci-Fi with swords (that aren’t lightsabers) has piqued my interest for sure. But I’m also looking at picking up Ys Seven on Steam.

Based on my recent experience with Ys VIII, I think I would totally dig it. But time (and my wallet) may be a factor in whether or not that comes to fruition now or in the near future.

What will you be getting into this weekend? I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend!
