Weekend Gaming Playlist
I don’t know about you, but when the weekend rolls around, there are so many things I always want to play. So much so that I wish a technology existed that allowed me to partition my brain into various parts to experience several different games simultaneously. Too sci-fi? Too verging-on-dystopia? Fine, I’ll just go over the few games I’ll be jumping back and forth between this weekend while trying to stay afloat on my current playlist and encroaching backlog.
Super Daryl Deluxe

So I can’t say too much about this game yet as it doesn’t release until Monday, but you’ll get to see my thoughts in all of their glory when my review publishes. What I can say right now is that I love this game so much. From art design to sound design to level design, it just really clicks with me, and I know it will click with many of you.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition

Yes, I’m still playing Skyrim after this many years. I still find new ways to experience it and have fun with it every time I fire the world up. I’m a roleplayer at heart and a lore-lover to the core, so much of the time I just walk around the beautiful, stark setting searching for new things to learn. Admittedly, I spend almost as much time trying out new mods as I do actually playing the game. Right now, I’m intrigued by the concept of the Beyond Skyrim project and want to dive into those creations.
The Elder Scrolls Online

I’m TES-heavy this week – sue me. I have, in fact, never jumped into TES Online before now. I know it carries a large amount of criticism for various reasons, but I’m jumping into it with my mind wide open. Thanks to everyone who encouraged me to get Best Buy GCU, I was able to get the game discounted and then was able to use a promo to get even more money off. So regardless of how I feel about the actual gaming experience, the purchase itself was completely painless.
But I’m curious as to what you all will be playing this weekend! Will you be rocking out on the Switch or another platform?
