Welcome back to another This Week In SwitchRPG History! This week in 2018 brought a few new articles, including SwitchRPG “gems” (up to that point), a piece on OP guest party members, another podcast episode, and a Weekend Gaming Playlist. Check it out!


SwitchRPG Gems (So Far)

The Nintendo Switch has quickly amassed a large library of RPGs in its relatively short lifespan. From large, AAA games like Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, to indie wonders like Blossom Tales, there’s a little for everyone regardless of your price point (and tastes). With the lack of robust filters and a rating system on the eShop, it is hard to know what RPGs in the eShop are worth playing. That is why I’ll be mentioning a few titles below that may or may not have been on your radar at some point. Meathead Menagerie: OP Guest Party Members

We all know that guy (or girl); the one that shows up to easily carry you through a dangerous encounter or situation with what appears to be little to no effort exerted on their end. Your standard party member barely has time to cast a spell or swing their blade before your guest decimates the field, arguably by only lifting a finger.
