Tell us a little about yourself!

Well, I am 32 and from Georgia. I’m a husband, a father, and I am basically into all things nerd culture. Big gamer, and I love anime, comic books, and movies. I also love American Football – a big Cowboys fan. I have worked as a General Manager of a movie theater for the last 12 years and love it. I am also a collector, mostly anime stuff but also gaming and comic book related collections. Most of my free time is spent with my family or playing the Xbox but I also enjoy some PC gaming and have fallen into a lot of Switch games as of late.

How long have you been a part of the SwitchRPG community?

Since June 20th, 2020.

How did you find SwitchRPG.com?

I am in a Video Game News and Deals Facebook group and someone posted the Discord or YouTube there.

How old were you when you first got into gaming, and what got you into it?

Probably five or six. I remember my dad bringing home a Super Nintendo and we played the original Mortal Kombat on it. Finding out about fatalities by accident was insane!

What is your favorite RPG subgenre?

Probably isometric ARPGs like Diablo, Dark Alliance 1/2, Grim Dawn etc. But I also really love JRPGs.

What are some of your favorite RPGs?

All time? Diablo 2, Final Fantasy X/X-2, Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance 2, Champions of Norrath, Witcher 3, World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind, Fallout New Vegas, and the Outer Worlds.

What RPGs on Switch are you currently playing?

I just got Trials of Mana and Hades, so I have been playing those recently.

What is your favorite thing about the SwitchRPG community?

Just how friendly everyone is. We have debates and people sometimes get annoyed but it’s so refreshing to just be able to talk about games without worrying about being insulted or other toxic issues from other gaming communities.

What game or series would you like to see come to Switch?

Virtual Console – I really want Nintendo to support its back catalog without making us pay full price for the slow drip-fed “remaster” ports.

What Switch titles are you currently anticipating the most?

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Remakes, Pokemon Legends, Pokemon Snap! Skyward Sword (never got to play it ), and Metroid Prime 4.

What is your fondest Nintendo memory?

Pokemon Red and discovering MewTwo for the first time. He broke out of 60 Ultra Balls, but I finally caught him with a regular old Pokeball. That was a good year.
