I love video games and the communities they build. I’ll never bag on a game other people like and I’m excited for this new generation of video games to melt our faces off.

How old were you when you first got into gaming, and what got you into it?

6, PC gaming with Police Quest and Carmen Sandiego. Later, Super Mario World and Mortal Kombat II were my obsessions. Then, Super Mario RPG and Final Fantasy VII introduced me to my favorite genre.

What are some of your favorite RPGs?

Xenoblade Chronicles, Final Fantasy, Persona, Ni No Kuni, and The Witcher 3.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Diablo 3.

What is your favorite thing about the SwitchRPG community?

Being able to discuss games with an active community that respects each other is fun. I also like hearing reactions for new games from this community.

Getting up at 4AM, as a little kid on a school day, to get extra time with Super Mario World in with my brother.

Zelda is neither a JRPG nor an RPG, and I think it’s fair to say after all these years that Dippin Dots is not the “ice cream of the future.”
