I’m a gamer, collector, and general nerd enthusiast. Everything from table top and comics to TV and film to games, I dabble in all of it.

Oh man, I’m terrible at dates. I wanna say a little over a year now.

How did you find SwitchRPG.com?

From SwitchList when it was still a thing, looking for a way to manage my collection and stumbled across a great community and solid reviews.

How old were you when you first got into gaming, and what got you into it?
HedgeKnightMike
My parents both gamed, I was growing up in and around it. I think my first system in my own room was an NES at 5.

What is your favorite RPG subgenre?
HedgeKnightMike
Ugh can I cheat and pick two? Western RPG and tactical or SRPG.

What are some of your favorite RPGs?
HedgeKnightMike
Lunar, Lufia, Grandia, Wild Arms, YS, Suikoden, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Wasteland, I could keep going for a while.

What RPGs on Switch are you currently playing?
HedgeKnightMike
Started Pine over recently, I suppose you could count Stardew as well. I just got the Grandia collection and YS Origins but haven’t gotten to them yet.

What is your favorite thing about the SwitchRPG community?
HedgeKnightMike
This is easily the best community I’ve found online. I would say the best thing is the genuine interactions you see all the time. In addition to the game talk you’ll have real chats and see a community of like minded people respect each other. No salt, no negativity, just really chill and knowledgeable people.

What game or series would you like to see come to Switch?

The older Yakuza games and Shenmue for weird ones, and obviously Twilight Princess.

What Switch titles are you currently anticipating the most?

Well if XIII ever comes I’ve pre ordered it. YS IX for RPGs.

What is your fondest Nintendo memory?
HedgeKnightMike
Beating Link’s Awakening on my Gameboy for the first time as a kid.
