Tell us a little about yourself!

I love collecting retro games, trying out new tech, 3d printing, tinkering on FPGA’s, graphical design (i have studied packaging design), music synths (both analog or DAW based), and sailing.

More than 1 year I think?

How did you find SwitchRPG.com?
Gunghir
I was looking for a smaller Switch community focused on RPGs.

How old were you when you first got into gaming, and what got you into it?
Gunghir
I think I was about five when I got an old Amstrad PC (PC1512) with Elite on it. I tried programming my own Tamagotchi in QBASIC on it, and after that I got a Megadrive. Been collecting ever since – will probably never stop doing that, even if I lack time to play the games.

What is your favorite RPG subgenre?
Gunghir
I guess I like grindy RPGs but it really depends on my mood. I do prefer sprite based rpgs. Is the metroidvania genre a rpg subgenre? Then I pick that one.

What are some of your favorite RPGs?
Gunghir
Breath of Fire 2, Tales of Phantasia (english hack) Lufia 2, Pokemon Red, Final Fantasy 12, Diablo 3, Castlevania SOTN, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission, and Disgaea 1.

What RPGs on Switch are you currently playing?
Gunghir
Tokyo Mirage Sessions Encore, Paper Mario RPG, and Diablo 3. My backlog is scary, but I do intend to play all of the games I discovered thanks to Switch RPG. Oh, and Breath of the Wild.

What is your favorite thing about the SwitchRPG community?
Gunghir
No toxic people. Very friendly users. Pretty active.

What game or series would you like to see come to Switch?
Gunghir
All the GBA Castlevanias. Remakes of both Metroid GBA games (sprite-based).

What Switch titles are you currently anticipating the most?
Gunghir
Metroid Prime 4, BOTW 2, and Disgaea 6.

What is your fondest Nintendo memory?
Gunghir
Beating the Sonic 2 boss for the first time with my best friend (was a Sega kid, can’t help it).

Anything else you would like to say?
Gunghir
Go play Call Of Duty: Cold War. It has this zombie mode.
