Summer continues on as August rolls around, and just like that, more than half of the year is already behind us. Once again, there are several solid releases – big and small – coming to the Switch this month. And with such a large variety, there’s probably something out there for everyone to look forward to.


Dragon Star Varnir

Play as Zephy as he finds himself caught in a battle between the witches, the Empire, dragons, and a foe much more powerful than anything else in existence. I really want to get Baldo the Guardian Owls. The art style gives me Ni No Kuni vibes (which I guess makes sense since they’re both inspired by Studio Ghibli in that regard), which I loved, so I have high hopes for it. I might also go for Shadowverse Champion’s Battle, depending on the reviews. I haven’t played many card battle RPGs, and I think it would be cool to try one.

Switch RPG
